Thanksgiving Break is over. I had an awesome little vacation. My kitty, Gaius Baltar is becoming the sweetest little traveler. He thinks the Bolenders’ home is our vacation home. He doesn’t seem to mind the three-hour trip. He likes to sit on the rear dash and meow. Or lounge in my lap, or in his pet-carrier with the lid open. He even uses his litter box (aka the Pooh-F-O, ya know because it is huge and odd like a UFO), I think it comforts him knowing it is available to him. Yes, we stopped in Medicine Bow briefly and left a little bit of Gaius there…haha!
Anyway, I enjoyed seeing friends and family. Target! Oh, how I wish Laramie had a Target. The new smoking lounge at the Fireside was lovely, although freezing. However, I missed my sister, Liane and my best friend, Shandra and their babies. Hopefully I will have time for all of this, plus more, over break. Looking forward to seeing my folks this Christmas in Nevada for a few days too. YippY!
But, right now, I am exhausted. Zak and I are stressed, sick, kind of glum and ready for Christmas. In need of family fun! The trees just went up. The end (of school) is near. Here is a little home movie Zak made in 2010. So, eat lots of chocolate, make your Christmas lists to Santa Claus, count your chickens or blessings or books that you like or whatever, and let’s power through people! Spread the cheer. And just tell me to shut up if I’m singing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer really loud in your face, okay? Thank you. Happy Holidays!
